Sandy Bernstein is a freelance writer and former web designer. She writes poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Her work has appeared in various print and web publications. Some credits include; Flashquake Magazine, The Writer Magazine, Writers' Journal, and recently, Southport Village Voices, of which she has become a frequent contributor. Once upon a time she co-edited and published the now defunct Sour Grapes Newsletter for writers and artists with fellow writer/artist Sheila Foley from 1995 to 2004.
Sandy participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in 2008 and 2009 and NaNoEdMo (National Novel Edit Month) in 2010.

Later this year Sandy hopes to make an announcement for her long awaited novel The Reluctant Medium. It started out as a novella but turned into a novel and will be the start of a paranormal mystery series.
